Most mornings after taking my son to the school bus I go for a short walk. It tends to be the same loop incorporating the beach and/or a stroll up the river.
It’s a great way to capture images, at first I thought it would be quite boring shooting the same thing over and over, far from it. Amazing how many things change both in the landscape and the sky.
I haven’t been shooting for years maybe 2 to 3 at most, but reviewing images is really interesting and what feels like just another shot of the beach is totally different from the rest. The one thing I do is only shoot things that look special and different, if I just blasted away every time, I’d have folders full of rubbish!
Many times I come back with no images, or a few where it’s been a case of, I must shoot something, only to throw them all away!
Confession on today’s image, many will say why iso400, simple it was a mistake! Shooting in the shadows just prior without a tripod I increased the ISO to get the shutter speed up! Then, yep forgot to change it back and only just remembered now when looking at the EXIF data!
